Giving back to nature and her inhabitants is why Legacy Circle Farms came into being. We plan and plant an abundance so we can support a sustainable farm as well as giving discounts, free food and work-shares to individuals and families in the area.
In this land of abundance no one should go hungry.
What we Grow
A varity of ear round seasonal produce and farm products such as dry culinary herbs, herbal tea, tincture, juice and tonics.
Our farming Philosophy.
Nature has a balance and left alone will nourish itself and has done so long before the birth of modern agriculture began and disrupted the balance. By observing this harmony and functioning within it we can not only produce nutrient dense food but we can conserve and rejuvenate the land and her soil. Nature functions as an unending loop and the land is our Legacy.
Our land management approach is to improve the soil through increasing biodiversity, intensive grazing and controlled burns. We integrate edible, medicinal, pollinator and endangered seeds and seedlings into the landscape letting nature be our guide. Hundreds of fruit, nut and berries have been planted not in rows in a field but among the forests and meadows providing not only food for people and animals like but also helping to improve the soil and decrease the effects of erosion. .
The land at Legacy Circle Farms provides many opportunities for foraging and when available we bring those to market or invite folks to come and forage with us. Apart from the bounty of the forest and fields we also host a large market garden, nursery and small outdoor mushroom operation with a full array of market goodies throughout the year.
THE DAVAULT FAMILY
John and Kerry DaVault met in pharmacy school and during the course of their respective careers have been drawn to the natural, holistic side of pharmacy. With this in mind, they founded Legacy Circle Farms in early 2019 with a vision to grow high quality, fresh produce using sustainable, earth friendly farm practices that provide the basis for good health i.e. food is medicine.
John and Kerry have two children Audrey, 15, and Cole, 12, that have been very helpful in starting the farm’s food production. From building vegetable beds to planting crops, it has been an adventure for the whole family.
In addition to the farm becoming a food producer, the DaVault family wants to help others realize the importance of the role that healthy foods play in combating diseases, especially cancers. Breast cancer support is very near to their hearts as Kerry is a breast cancer survivor of an especially aggressive form called Triple Negative Breast Cancer of which there is no known cause.
All proceeds from the farm will be donated to help advance the fight against breast cancer.
We're the Bernsen Family.
AFTER BECOMING PARENTS OUR DESIRE TO GROW CLEAN NATURAL FOOD HAS BLOSSOMED into a partnership with landowners and farmers alike. We believe that an abundance can be produced if we simply bring people and animals together and circle to nature to grow within the forest providing natural clean food and medicine for generations to come.
We would love to have you out and get your hands dirty!

We are excited to share with you the clean nutrient dense food we proudly grow and serve our children every day!
